Welcome to Lemonade Island. Your destination for sweet direction.

This tropical oasis provides a fun, safe space for people to unload. To be heard. To connect. To score free lemonade.

Pete is here to give you advice. While he is not a licensed therapist*, he’s been on the receiving end of a ton of advice - both good and bad. As a result, Pete has developed a unique way of seeing things from a “different” angle which helps him provide both a caring ear and empathetic solutions.

Based on many years of experience in immersive events, family-friendly comedies, and audience engagement during his long-running improvised, participatory solo shows, Pete has a unique way of “reading” people through a playfully compassionate fish-eye lens.

Think of it as public art - where the canvas is the client. You!

Here’s how it works:

  • Take a seat at Pete’s tiny, tropical-themed stand, festooned with lemon-ish items and tropical tunes and enjoy a serving of free lemonade (after all, we are turning those sour issues into something sweet)

  • Tell Pete a bit about yourself and share what kind of advice you need (ranging from simple to complex)

  • Listen, while a lemon timer counts down 3-minutes and leave with a “prescription” for the next steps you need to take to resolve your issue. Then enjoy the rest of the day feeling refreshed, tickled, and even a bit lighter

Lemonade Island has been in service since summer 2023 when Pete was commissioned by Vornado Realty to create an interactive event for a new public plaza in the shadow of Madison Square Garden. From there, he’s provided this service in the back room of a Lower East Side Speakeasy, on the sidewalk outside a comedy venue in Queens, at the entrance to the High Line in Manhattan, at a family street fair in Chelsea, in the lobby of a tall building in Herald Square, at an awards show, and at a brewery in eastern Long Island.

BOOK IT!

Lemonade Island isn’t powered by a character. It’s powered by Pete being his genuine self. Albeit, with a fancy hat, bold shirt, and mysterious aviators. It can be set up anywhere, indoors or out (weather permitting).

BONUS! Pete is super flexible, so Lemonade Island can be customized to match your event from holiday themes (see photo below), to special occasions, to corporate branding. Shifts run from 1-3 hours. He provides the goods.

In the lobby of Penn 1 for their pre-Thanksgiving lobby vibe. They even served pie.

Contact Pete here, and let’s work together to make this spinning rock a little bit sweeter.
