PM2 Entertainment produces and presents fresh, original comedy at affordable prices. Peter Michael Marino’s company co-produced dozens of Edinburgh Fringe hits at “The Unofficial Upper East Side EdFest,” in October 2017 and February 2018 at Ryan’s Daughter. Pete also co-produced the politically charged “trumCON” festival November 24-26 at The Kraine, which featured 45 comics and playwrights.

In August 2017, PM2 Entertainment produced the Edinburgh Fringe premier of Jason Kravits’ Off the Top! at The Boards, Edinburgh Playhouse. Pete also produced and performed his own solo comedy, Show Up, at The Counting House to sold out houses and critical raves.

In 2016, PM2 Entertainment presented the NYC debut of London raconteur David Mills: Shame! and the sci-fi, Moby-Dick spoof Moby Alpha. Pete’s company also created & co-produced SOLOCOM at The PIT, which has debuted over 400 original solo comedies from around the world. In 2017, Pete joined forces with the UK’s Civil Disobedience Productions to present the critically acclaimed, immersive show, Joe’s NYC Bar, at Ryan’s Daughter.

Pete launched Gary Busey’s One-Man Hamlet as Performed by David Carl at the 2015 Edinburgh Fringe, which then played to capacity houses at The PIT Loft in NYC in 2016; followed by a critically acclaimed run at The Chicago Shakespeare Theater in July 2016 with the new title David Carl’s Celebrity One-Man Hamlet

David Carl’s Celebrity One-Man Hamlet

(formerly Gary Busey’s One-Man Hamlet as Performed by David Carl)

Written & performed by David Carl. Co-created & directed by Michole Biancosino

“Deliciously deranged...a head-spinning performance” - The New York Times

★★★★★ “70 batshit crazy hilarious minutes” - Broadway Baby

TimeOut New York Critics Pick

As Shakespearean actor, puppeteer, singer and action-movie director, Gary Busey (impersonated by NYC actor-writer David Carl) performs each scene of Hamlet his way, with occasional detours into great Busey moments from Buddy Holly and Lethal Weapon. The heady mix of high and low-brow comedy celebrates Shakespeare’s classic by using it to reflect upon the jaded, celebrity-crazed, meme-obsessed world around us.

Moby Alpha

Written and performed by Chuck Armstrong & Charlie Stockman

★★★★★ "The writing is superb…the most creative use of lighting I’ve ever seen…an ingenious bit of comedy theater!” - Edinburgh Festivals Magazine

Moby Alpha pays preposterous homage to classic sci-fi and bombastic literature, with nods to Alien, Star Trek, 2001: A Space Odyssey, and tells the story of a mad captain’s quest for revenge on the amorphous energy cloud that temporarily took his leg. More simply, Moby Alpha is Moby-Dick in space - but funny. The show is performed in an entirely dark theater, with the only light emanating from the duo’s custom-built, million-color, LED space helmets - creating a unique, otherworldly aesthetic.

David Mills: Shame!

"A class act. David Mills is heading for the big time!" - TIMEOUT LONDON

Focus people! After a sold-out run at London’s Soho Theatre, David Mills returns to NYC with Shame!, featuring brand-new, razor sharp rants delivered with his signature cocktail swagger, biting, acerbic wit and a clutch of apocalyptic tunes. Featuring stories and songs from squat parties in San Francisco to grand dinners with aging London It-girls, ex-pat Mills' hilarious tirades cover celebrity pop culture, ISIS, politicians, and London life. Expect a smart hour of spikey comedy and irreverent commentary for grown-ups. Featuring Jody Shelton on piano.

"His talent for whip-cracking one-liners is audaciously thrilling." - OFFWESTEND.COM

★★★★★ “Incredibly well-conceived!” - British Theatre Guide

Joe’s NYC Bar offers a safe space for the public to interact with a diverse cast of colorful and opinionated barflies about issues close to their hearts. But it’s not just about the actors. At Joe’s, audience members will interact with diverse characters from a wired ad executive to a neurotic pharma rep to an introverted art therapist. Embedded into the experience are meticulously researched characters, each with their individual narratives explored at every performance, plus a different world-class live musical act every night.

Off the Top!

PM2 Entertainment will be producing a special engagement of Jason Kravits’ critically acclaimed, Bistro Award-winning, improvised, musical cabaret Off the Top! at the Edinburgh Fringe in August 2017. The show is currently planning an Australian tour, with two performances at the Adelaide Cabaret Festival in June, 2018.

‘Brilliant!’ ★★★★★ -

‘Downright dazzling!’ -

‘Smart, entertaining, and a genuine hoot.’ – Cabaret Scenes

In his musical high-wire act, Bistro Award winner Jason Kravits (assisted by Melbourne’s fearless pianist and cabaret star John Thorne) spontaneously creates a character, a life story and an entire evening of original songs, all based on audience suggestions. Showstoppers, character songs, trifles, segues, sob stories and back stories, humblebrags and overshares - Jason makes it all up in real time, off the top of his nimble and slightly demented mind, to the amazement of his audience. A man. A band. Totally unplanned. Off the Top! delivers an entirely new show every time.
